Occassional tiny vertebral body haemangiomas are seen, none significant. L2-L3, L3-L4, L4-L5; mild bilateral facet hypertopy. L5-S1; mild diffuse disc bulge, with small posterior central protrusion. Mild bilateral facet hypertrophy. Disc slightly indents the thecal sac, and touches the right descending S1 root. CONCLUSION ; Degenerative, herniated L5-S1disc, with potential principally for dural irritation. Some potential for right S1 root irritation. I would like if you could explain this to me in easier terms thankyou

Hello

MRI findings indicate degenerative changes in lumbo-sacral spine.

There is degenerative disc at L5-S1 level. There is mild diffuse disc bulge with small posterior disc herniation. Herniated disc is indenting thecal sac and possibly irritating right S1 nerve root.
There is mild facet hypertophy at L2-3,L3-4 and L4-5 level.
Majority of degenerative disc disease patients are benefited by conservative treatment in the form of physiotherapy, analgesics and muscle relaxants.

Since you have mild findings,I think you will only need conservative treatment.

Tiny vertebral hemangioma are incidental findings and generally it doesn't require any treatment.

Spinal cord is normal.

Get well soon.
Take Care
