Hi could you explain my MRI report. Findings; The conus lies at L1. Cord signal and morphology are unremarkable. The L5-S1 disc is degenerative. Occassional tiny vertebral body haemangiomas are seen, none significant. L2-L3, L3-L4, L4-L5; mild bilateral facet hypertopy. L5-S1; mild diffuse disc bulge, with small posterior central protrusion. Mild bilateral facet hypertrophy. Disc slightly indents the thecal sac, and touches the right descending S1 root. CONCLUSION ; Degenerative, herniated L5-S1disc, with potential principally for dural irritation. Some potential for right S1 root irritation.
